Welcome back to Y2Neil. Again it's an early morning/late night for me; it's 02:14 and I'm just tweaking the site a bit more. I've done a lot of work on it today, getting more pages done, more graphics and general bits and bobs. As for my day in general its been alright, had work in the morning, originally I was scheduled for a grueling 9 till 6 shift, but thankfully Vicky came in and saved me around half 1. I'm on a seven day week this week, but think of the money! J I was kept very busy at work today, for the few hours I was actually there, the time flew by. Malcolm (the boss) was talking a lot about transsexuals, I offered to do the Time Warp with him but he wasn't that keen. The mind of the manager is a strange one, I found him standing around dancing on several occasions...slightly odd if you ask me. But I have to question the minds of people in upper management, for example, we have to listen to the voice-mails in the morning (and throughout the day) from the district managers and others in authority, most of these people are in their early 40s and pushing on in their years, but why oh why are they trying to be cool by saying "Guys, FYI"?! It is annoying the hell outta me having to hear people trying to cling onto their youth, and "IMO" it's not really that cool/useful of a phrase to use. Sure, when your on MSN and the such use them as much as you like, but heck. Act your age! The WWE's Raw tonight was pretty good in my opinion, obviously some crappy matches and the 'Eugene' angle is always a little painful to watch but the main event of Evolution against Foley/HBK/Benjamin/Benoit was great, even if it was 'knife-edge chop' city! Guys, FYI, Sel and I have a house that we'll be moving into in the coming weeks so the site may take a little longer than expected to be fully up and running, but keep watching this space and I'll keep you informed! As for now, nighty night! AND ROCK ON!! |
Hello all, it's twenty past one in the morning and I've finally decided on what my new site should look like. This is it. That same old tired feeling look, but hey, it's worked before and if it ain't broke, don't fix it! Anyway, I've found an old CD of mine and I've found my two singles that I recorded, some of you may remember them, they are 'The Sophie Song' and 'My Dying Day'. I recorded these when I first got my guitar and listening back to them I can see that they are a pile of crap! They both contain a maximum of four chords, the lyrics are...ok, so I still think the lyrics to 'My Dying Day' are profound, a little repetitive but the song is four minutes twelve long! Nothing much has happened today, its the first day of my diary and I can tell that this is how it's going to be for the majority of my posts here. Work was fun as always, had the final few remaining dregs of people trying to claim their free CD from the News of the World, lets hope that this is the end to the newspaper freebies - I can't deal with it much more! Its the final week of Uni before we break up for Easter, looking forward to that, and on Monday I'm going to Alton Towers, I'll be sure to let you all know how it goes with a full report! As for now, I'm turning in for the night. See you tomorrow, losers! |
